Upcoming events
Three complementary programmes to share knowledge and enrich dialogue: a scientific series for scientists and clinical teams, conferences open to everyone, and symposiums that bring these audiences together around shared themes.
Scientific Series
Lecture by Ana Paula Beck Da Silva Etges
BilingualThe scientific rounds provide a concise platform for scientists and practitioners to present research updates, findings, and innovations to the community, to discuss health issues and challenges connected to our research domains (primary care and health systems, older adult care, surgical sciences, and cancer care), to share knowledge, and to build collaborations that improve community health outcomes in support of collaborative research, implementation research, and integrated service delivery.
SMRC Scientific Series rounds are held on Thursdays from 12:00 to 13:00.
Accreditation statement
SMRC Scientific Series rounds are self-approved group learning activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and recognized by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
For any question, or to take part, please get in touch.
Community Conferences
No event has been announced in this series yet.
SMRC community conferences build bridges between scientists and the community to discuss health issues and challenges connected to our research domains (primary care and health systems, older adult care, surgical sciences, and cancer care), to share knowledge, and to build collaborations that improve community health outcomes in support of collaborative research, implementation research, and integrated service delivery.
Symposia
CAN-TOX 3 Symposium
SMRC symposia bring researchers, clinicians and partners together for a full day around a single theme. Past editions are documented in pictures on their own page.
