As part of the FMED506 course, “Indigenous perspectives – decolonizing health research,” Christina Raneburger and Lisandra Lannes presented SMRC's vision on how to approach research with Indigenous communities, including by encouraging co-creation and the development of collaborative partnerships.
The “Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Cultural Security Policy” of the CIUSSS-ODIM was given as an example in the perspective of the future EDI policy of the Centre, to encourage the integration of EDI into all research activities.
