SMRC joined St. Mary's Hospital Foundation's Movember fundraiser to support the oncology department of St. Mary's Hospital Centre. Staff enthusiastically backed Jean-Daniel Beauchesne, SMRC's Associate Director, as he grew his moustache for the cause.
SMRC also hosted a Scientific Series lecture by Dr. Sylvie Lambert on “The TEMPO Canadian Cancer Trial,” focusing on how the program addresses the needs of both prostate cancer patients and their caregivers.
