SMRC's Dr. Sylvie Lambert led a workshop as part of the Ministry of Health and Social Services' Journée nationale de concertation en proche aidance (National Day of Consultation on Caregiving).
Dr. Lambert focused on close support in oncology, which aimed to identify best practices to better support caregivers in oncology when announcing the diagnosis and during treatment periods. This conference will go on to inform the next Government Action Plan for informal caregivers 2026-2031.
