SMRC's Dr. Jeannie Haggerty gave a seminar lecture titled “Bridging Clinical and Research Worlds in Family Medicine”, providing an overview of her work in the field, and insight as to why family medicine creates unique strengths within both clinical and research spheres.
This seminar was hosted by the Department of Family Medicine and the McGill Primary Care Practice Based Research Network, as part of the network's 10-year anniversary. Dr. Haggerty currently serves as its Scientific Director and is the first holder of the McGill Research Chair in Family and Community Medicine.
