St. Mary's Research Centre congratulates Dr. Isabelle Leblanc on receiving the McGill University Family Medicine Hero Award in Transcultural Medical Care, for her outstanding work in global health and primary care.
As a family physician, educator, and advocate, Dr. Leblanc inspires us all with her dedication to patient care and community outreach both locally and globally. Her current research is a CARE-funded project titled “Too much pain doctor!: Training clinicians to detect expressions of psychological distress in patients of diverse ethnocultural groups”.
